Etude des relations entre conscience réglementaire et contextes de pratique sportive auprès d’adolescents sportifs

Abstract : Based on a structural approach (Kohlberg, 1976 ; Tapp & Lévine, 1977), this study analyses athletic rules consciousness of adolescents in relation to their contexts of athletic practice (institutionalized context versus self-organized context). Semi-directive interviews have been held with twenty adolescents. The lexical (A.L.C.E.S.T.E. software) and qualitative analysis highlights differences between the two groups of adolescents in terms of athletic rules consciousness. The institutionalized context mainly leads to a submitted and functional consciousness whereas the self-organized context is at the basis of a responsible and moral consciousness. These results are in opposition with the common beliefs both underlined by the political and federal institutions about this two contexts of sport practice.
