Pèlerinages dans les Alpes - Maritimes Lieux et pratiques dévotionnelles dans les vallées du moyen et haut pays niçois Bilan des campagnes 2003 / 2004

Wenn es ein richtig anthropologisches Phänomen ist, in dem Sinne, dass es in allen menschlichen Gesellschaften gefunden wird, ist es in der Tat das religiöse Phänomen. Ob man seinen Blick in die Vergangenheit richtet, oder ob man ihn in ferne Kulturen trägt, überall und immer drängt sich der Glaube an übernatürliche Wesen auf. Diese haben wiederkehrende Charaktere in kontrastierenden kulturellen Umgebungen und bieten gleichzeitig eine außergewöhnliche Formenvielfalt. Es ist überraschend, dass diese Verzahnung von Invarianten und Unterschieden nach einer fraktalen Analogie unabhängig von der gewählten geografischen Skala wiederholt wird. Die Daten, die Thierry Rosso und Cyril Isnart hier auf Wallfahrten und Pilgerreisen im Mittel- und Hochland von Nizza geben, zeigen in der Tat Konfigurationen von Praktiken, bei denen iterative Charaktere und lokale Besonderheiten kombiniert werden. Insofern ist es nicht vermessen, in dieser Publikation ein Instrument zu sehen, das es mittelfristig ermöglichen soll, besser zu verstehen, wie durch die religiöse Tatsache im Departement Alpes-Maritimes neue Identitätseinsätze entstehen und entstehen Singular (zum Beispiel die Frage der Konstruktion von Lokalität und Abgrenzung von Grenzen) und die Befriedigung manifester spiritueller Bedürfnisse in allen Menschen. Zugegebenermaßen wird eine solche Aufgabe viele eingehende ethnographische Untersuchungen erfordern, aber es ist alles Verdienst der hier durchgeführten Bestandsaufnahme, Forscher einzuladen, diesen Weg einzuschlagen. Es hätte nicht ohne die wertvolle Unterstützung des Generalrates der Alpes-Maritimes eröffnet werden können. Diese Gemeinde und insbesondere ihr Kulturerbe-Institut ist ein treuer Partner des anthropologischen Labors (LAMIC, E.A. 3179) der Universität von Nizza-Sophia Antipolis. If it is a properly anthropological phenomenon, in the sense that it is found in all human societies, it is indeed the religious phenomenon. Whether one turns one's gaze to the past, or one carries it to distant cultures, everywhere and always imposes, massive, the fact of beliefs in supernatural beings. These have recurring characters in contrasting cultural environments and, at the same time, offer an extraordinary diversity of forms. It is surprising that, according to a fractal analogy, this interlocking of invariants and differences is repeated regardless of the geographical scale chosen. The data that Thierry Rosso and Cyril Isnart give here on pilgrimages and roummérages in the Middle and High-Country of Nice show indeed configurations of practices where iterative characters and local specificities are combined. As such, it is not presumptuous to see in this publication a tool which, in the medium term, should allow to better understand how, through the religious fact in the department of the Alpes-Maritimes, new identitary stakes originate and singular (for example, the question of the construction of locality and delimitation of boundaries) and the satisfaction of manifest spiritual needs in all human beings. Admittedly, such a task will require many in-depth ethnographic surveys, but it is all the merit of the inventory work returned here to invite researchers to embark on this path. It could not have been opened without the valuable assistance of the Alpes-Maritimes General Council. This local authority, and in particular its heritage department, is a faithful partner of the anthropology laboratory (LAMIC, E.A. 3179) of the University of Nice-Sophia Antipolis. S 'il est un phénomène proprement anthropologique, en ce sens qu'on le retrouve dans toutes les sociétés humaines, c'est bien le phénomène religieux. Que l'on tourne son regard vers le passé, ou qu'on le porte vers des cultures lointaines, partout et toujours s'impose, massif, le fait des croyances dans des êtres surnaturels. Celles-ci présentent des caractères récurrents dans des environnements culturels contrastés et, en même temps, offrent une extraordinaire diversité de formes. Il est étonnant que, selon une analogie fractale, cet emboîtement d'invariants et de différences se répète quelle que soit l'échelle géographique retenue. Les données que livrent ici Thierry Rosso et Cyril Isnart sur les pèlerinages et roumérages dans le Moyen et Haut-Pays niçois font en effet apparaître des configurations de pratiques où se conjuguent des caractères itératifs et des spécificités locales. À ce titre, il n'est pas présomptueux de voir dans cette publication un outil qui, à moyen terme, devrait permettre de mieux comprendre comment, à travers le fait religieux dans le département des Alpes-Maritimes, se nouent des enjeux identitaires originaux et singuliers (par exemple, la question de la construction de la localité et de la délimitation des frontières) et la satisfaction de besoins spirituels manifestes chez tous les êtres humains. Certes, une telle tâche exigera de nombreuses enquêtes ethnographiques approfondies, mais c'est tout le mérite du travail d'inventaire restitué ici d'inviter les chercheurs à s'engager dans cette voie. Celle-ci n'aurait pu être ouverte sans le concours précieux du Conseil Général des Alpes-Maritimes. Cette collectivité territoriale, et en particulier son service du patrimoine, est un partenaire fidèle du laboratoire d'anthropologie (LAMIC, E.A. 3179) de l'Université de Nice-Sophia Antipolis. Sia che si volga lo sguardo verso il passato, sia che lo si porti a culture lontane, ovunque e sempre si imponga, in modo massiccio, il fatto di credenze in esseri soprannaturali. Questi hanno personaggi ricorrenti in contesti culturali contrastanti e, allo stesso tempo, offrono una straordinaria varietà di forme. È sorprendente che, secondo un'analogia frattale, questo intreccio di invarianti e differenze sia ripetuto indipendentemente dalla scala geografica scelta. I dati che Thierry Rosso e Cyril Isnart danno qui in pellegrinaggi e roummérages nel Medio e Alto Paese di Nizza mostrano infatti configurazioni di pratiche in cui i personaggi iterativi e le specificità locali sono combinati. Come tale, non è presuntuoso vedere in questa pubblicazione uno strumento che, a medio termine, dovrebbe consentire di comprendere meglio come, attraverso il fatto religioso nel dipartimento delle Alpes-Maritimes, nascano nuove poste identitarie e singolare (ad esempio, la questione della costruzione della località e delimitazione dei confini) e la soddisfazione dei bisogni spirituali manifesti in tutti gli esseri umani. Indubbiamente, un tale compito richiederà molte indagini etnografiche approfondite, ma è tutto merito del lavoro di inventario restituito qui per invitare i ricercatori a intraprendere questo percorso.
